YUJIN Machinery Ltd. has been leading the development of rolling stock components through the operation of an R&D center.
Starting from the development of rolling stock components, we are now striving day and night to develop cutting-edge technologies
to competitively respond to rapidly advancing technology and the increasingly international customer needs and environments
by securing unique core technologies for key products including various railway vehicle brake systems.
The R&D center plays an important role in contributing to strengthening national competitiveness and advancing technology not only
by establishing domestic self-reliance in core railway vehicle technologies, which are the nation's key industries, but also by
accelerating the development of new products for the future.
In order to actively respond to the characteristics of railway vehicle products that require safety and high reliability, we established
the Railway Vehicle Component R&D Center affiliated with YUJIN Machinery Ltd. in 1986 and concentrated on new product development,
localization, and securing our own technology. As a result, we have made remarkable progress in advanced railway vehicles and have made
many efforts to enable the design of key components of advanced EMUs, high-speed coaches, LRVs, and high-speed trains using our own technology.
As a result, the reliability of our designs through perfect technical coordination with any type of railway vehicle has been recognized,
and we are still working tirelessly to reduce dependence on overseas suppliers in key areas. Even in difficult internal and external
environments, we have identified in advance the direction of rapidly changing technological development and have made balanced investments
in mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering fields, securing advanced technical personnel and state-of-the-art equipment accordingly.
As a result, in December 1996, we were designated by the government as the design and manufacturing company for the Korean High Speed Train
brake system field and successfully completed the development. YUJIN Machinery Ltd. continues to do its best to grow into a company that
will never fall behind in the global market through railway product development, lightweighting and downsizing of products, and continuous
R&D and practice.
